An easy way to make a side salad a visual and tasty feast is to top it with a blend of nuts and seeds. This increases the variety of flavours, changes the texture and adds protein.
Lettuce, tomato, cucumber and capsicum suddenly becomes a bit more interesting!
You can buy them prepackaged or make your own blend of sesame, pepita, flaked almonds etc.
Sprinkle them on top, and mix them through just before you serve.
